PSN Leadership Pays Courtesy Visit to AIPN National Chairman Ahead of IJELE 2026
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) leadership and the IJELE 2026 Conference Planning Committee paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (AIPN), Pharm. Bankole Ezebuilo, in Anambra State, reaffirming collaboration, professional unity, and support for a successful IJELE 2026 conference.
The President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Pharm. Ayuba Ibrahim Tanko, FPSN, accompanied by members of the National Executive Council (NEC) and the Conference Planning Committee for IJELE 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (AIPN), Pharm. Bankole Ezebuilo, at his residence in Agukwu Nri, Anambra State.
The visit underscored the spirit of collaboration among pharmacy stakeholders as preparations continue for IJELE 2026, the PSN's annual national conference.
During the visit, NEC members also surprised the PSN President with an early birthday celebration in recognition of his leadership, adding a moment of fellowship to the gathering.
Welcoming the delegation, Pharm. Ezebuilo performed the traditional presentation of kola nut and offered prayers for the success of IJELE 2026. He reaffirmed AIPN's commitment to supporting the conference, expressing confidence that it would serve as a landmark event for the pharmacy profession while showcasing the rich culture and hospitality of Anambra State.
He further stressed the importance of unity among the various technical groups within the profession, noting that sustained collaboration remains essential for advancing pharmacy practice in Nigeria. He encouraged members of the Conference Planning Committee to remain committed to delivering a successful conference that would strengthen professional relationships across the country.
As part of the occasion, the PSN Deputy President (North), Pharm. Aisha, presented birthday gifts to the PSN President on behalf of the NEC members.
The courtesy visit reflects the ongoing efforts of the PSN leadership to foster collaboration with its technical groups as momentum builds towards the successful hosting of IJELE 2026.
