Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) recently hosted its latest Inaugural Lecture, featuring a compelling presentation by Prof. N.M. Danjuma, a distinguished Professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The lecture, titled "Feeding the Brain: How Your Foods Shape your Mind," drew a prestigious audience of academics, students, and university officials to discuss the critical intersection of nutrition and neurology.
The event commenced with an opening address by Prof. Ahmad, who stood in for the scheduled inaugural lecture chairman, Prof. Rafindadi. Welcoming the university community including various heads of departments and senior scholars Prof. Ahmad emphasized the profound public health relevance of the lecture. He noted that educating the public on optimizing brain health is essential for fostering cognitive longevity and overall societal well-being.
